Rest Easy, Ate Balot. 💔💔💔 Rest Easy, Ate Balot. 💔💔💔
Ate Nalit and Ate Balot, My two pretty cousins. B Ate Nalit and Ate Balot,

My two pretty cousins. Both mothers, friends, cousins and both have raised lovely daughters.

Words are not enough to express the pain and grief I have for losing you both successively. It’s just too overwhelming. I will never be able to see both of you laugh and smile back whenever I will visit your homes in the future.

Another day has set for both of you and Heaven gained two more guardian angels. Watch over us from up above.

Rest easy in eternity, you two. You had already lived your lives and there will be No more pain and suffering for you both.

Missing you both dearly.

Love,

Inday JL
It’s been just a day after I learned of your pas It’s been just a day after I learned of your passing yet the pain is still gnawing at me like poison. I realised I dont even have your photo, but your brown eyes tell me secrets and loyalty with no comparison. Know that I am shattered when you left but I am happy to know you will join your brothers Revo, George, Saisaki, Boogie and our house cat, Pitz as you cross the rainbow bridge.

Oh how time flies, Sparky. I miss you dearly. It was a good 6 or 7 years with you.

Run free, my lovely boy. Mommy misses you it hurts even to breathe. 💔💔💔

While immersing myself in the company of books tha While immersing myself in the company of books that had been in antiquity, a lot of questions run through my head. What if’s. Could have beens. Regrets. Joys. Anxiety. Anticipation.

My life flashed before my eyes in a manner that is both bittersweet and scary, like when I took the risk to go overseas to try my luck in the career path I never thought would last me till now (three years and counting) and braving the waves both literally and figuratively.

I was frustrated, disappointed and very much in angst about life’s unexpected curveballs this year. But this year had been a turning point in both physical and mental health. This year had tested me and baptised me with water, fire and a lot of snow and ice. It is tiring, yet I always believe in the power of solid and lasting friendships and stable relationships. (Always grateful for friends turned to family and strangers turned friends). It was my way of adapting to life’s hardest battles I had to fight on a daily basis. Been injured, had been severely depressed and suicidal, had a major surgery and one organ out, and constantly lives with pain but again, these scars become my stepping stones to rebuilding my self over and over.

While I immerse myself in the antiquity of these books, I relish on the fact that I had been able to leave an imprint of my footsteps in this library, and my presence had been incorporated on its existence, just like leaving an impression on other’s lives. I am very far from being perfect, and will never be. But as I wake up everyday to face the world again, I am still comforted on the fact that my unimportant existence still makes a mark in a vast, chaotic and unforgiving society.

As the year comes to a close, I am still very much a work in progress and I am still very much grateful that along the way, I am able to live and love as if it is my last breath. And when the time on earth comes to a close, I hope and pray that my impact to others had been relevant enough to be remembered (including the bad and the ugly).

For success, attitude is equally important as abil For success, attitude is equally important as ability - Sir Walter Scott

—————————-
The Scott monument is a brooding, 200-foot (61m), Gothic spire which opened in 1846 in hi rolific local novelist Walter Scott. It has been called "the largest monument to a writer in the world.”

Situated opposite Jenners and very near Waverley Station, the "gothic rocket" has a very darl caused by pollutants and soot sticking to its oily, shale stone structure. In spite of attempts to monument - during the 1990s it was under scaffolding and covered up for many years - it still dark colouring.

When you climb the Monument's 287 steps to the top, via its increasingly narrow, spiral stairc a series of viewing decks offering views of Edinburgh City Centre.

The museum at level 1 has the hallowed air of a small chapel with its wooden panelled walls an arched windows. The four stained-glass windows were designed by leading 19th century Scottis Roberts and made by James Ballantine. There's a small circular bench in the middle for resting dedicated to Walter Scott. Audio installations offer readings of Scott's work.

After entering another door, you follow the stone, spiral staircase to the top. It becomes so narrow near the spire that you may find it a squash to pass visitors on their way back down.

At the top of the stairs, a small door leads out to the 360° viewing deck.

The wind-swept top offers fantastic views of the surrounding Edinburgh area (on a good day). You can walk all the round the deck, looking up and down Princes Street, over the top of the adjacent Festival Wheel, across to Edinburgh Castle and the line of Old Town buildings of the Royal Mile.

Better known as the Penshaw Monument, this 70 foot high monument is a replica of the Temple of Hephaestus in Athens and can be seen for miles around. It is considered to be Wearside's most beloved landmark, even appearing on the badge of Sunderland Football Club.

The viaduct was supposed to have opened in 1848, but the first construction collapsed into the river very near to completion, which necessitated a new viaduct and delayed the opening of the line through Knaresborough by three years.

Knaresborough (/ˈnɛərzbərə/ NAIRZ-bər-ə) is a market and spa town and civil parish in the Borough of Harrogate, North Yorkshire, England, on the River Nidd 3 miles (4.8 km) east of Harrogate.

Leeds Cathedral is one of the finest Catholic Cath Leeds Cathedral is one of the finest Catholic Cathedrals in England.

Dedicated to Saint Anne, the mother of Our Lady, the Cathedral is situated in the heart of Leeds city centre and contrasts with the surrounding new hotels and office blocks, The Light shopping centre, and the Victorian Town Hall.

The Cathedral is a place of silence and prayer which provides a refuge from the activity of one of Britain’s busiest cities. This atmosphere of peace has grown through the daily celebration of the Liturgy, and every afternoon there is silent Adoration before the Blessed Sacrament. This sense of God’s peaceful presence is the Cathedral’s chief glory.
